How it does it

Every contract, with today's price

It does the job end to end, and before money, a message or a commitment goes out, it asks you.

1This happens

You sign a contract: fixed price, to be fixed or a barter. Then you fix.

2Your office, on its own
  • Loads the contract with its tonnes, its price and its deadlines.
  • Loads every fixing, never more tonnes than the contract.
  • Values it every day with the Rosario board price.
  • Tells you the day before a deadline to fix.
3It asks you

Nothing: fixing is between you and your buyer.

4What is left

The value of what you sold, today, and what is left to fix.

Today and with your office

Today the deadlines are in someone's head

Today
  • Contracts in a folder.
  • What is fixed, in a spreadsheet that is not always up to date.
  • The deadline comes up when the broker calls.
  • Nobody knows what the sold grain is worth today.
With your office
  • Every contract and every fixing, loaded.
  • Valued with each day's board price.
  • The notice the day before the deadline.
  • What is left to fix, in sight.

Questions

About your contracts

Does it fix for me?

No. Fixing is between you and your buyer; your office loads the fixing when you make it.

Which price does it value with?

The Rosario board price for each business day; a to-be-fixed contract is valued with what is fixed plus today's board price.

What about barters?

They are loaded as the contract states them, in quintales, and kept in tonnes.
